Oven Head Cove, New Brunswick and Gleason Cove, Perry, Maine

Stopped to pick up some smoked salmon and some salmon jerky at Oven Head as I was heading home form New Brunswick today. Have enjoyed their salmon since my first trip to New Brunswick in 2007! (exit 45 Highway 1) Took a leisurely journey home enjoying Downeast and Eastport.

The perfect summer day in Maine and the perfect place to enjoy it, away form the crowds in beautiful Eastport!  Delicious wood fire cooked dinner at the Pickled Herring with live jazz and a waterfront almost full moon stroll.  If you're not Downeast, why not?
