Bay of Fundy, Pocologan, New Brunswick

I was painting in my motel room, as the fog and mist are very thick today, and just happened to look up and see that the world was pinkish purple, wow, a weird sunset through the fog...beautiful!

Belted Galloways, Rockport, Maine

The coast was completely socked in today, but it made all the new greens of late spring look all that more beautiful.  Took a trip to Camden hoping to paint, but the views were too foggy.  Loved stopping in Rockport to spend a few minutes with the Belteds.

2 Walks, Portland and Damariscotta, Maine

Took 2 walks on this rainy day, in Portland to see the MECA Auction preview and to River Arts in Damariscotta.  Love walking in the misty rain in the city.  Quote for the day from a young man in Portland "Do you know that if you change the lenses on a handicam you can see into almost anything including the mail?"

Pemaquid Point, Maine

Took a trip to Damariscotta today to pick up artwork and went on to Pemaquid to paint.  What a change in the weather, 84 and sunny in Damariscotta and 64 and fogged in at Pemaquid.  Still beautiful and fascinating with all the sounds of the busy Atlantic unseen in the veil of fog.  Many tourists were disappointed to come to Pemaquid on their one chance and to have no view.  Quote of the day from a very young boy to his parents "Look at that man down on the rocks with a BABY!"

Eastern Prom, Portland, ME

I decided to start a new blog of daily photos as a discipline for daily walking exercise and for a change from my Maine Paintings, looking forward to posting some interesting scenes around Maine and on my travels.

This morning on the Eastern Prom with a white fog bank hanging over Martin's Point, very hot and humid with no sun. Walked down to the East End Beach and the length of the beach, no one around except for the young sailors, low tide.
