Attended a rally at the Maine Department of Labor today to support Judy Taylor's 2008 "History of Maine Labor" commission for the lobby. The governor of Maine feels the piece is pro-labor and should not be in the State Department of Labor and will remove it. The painted panels represent the history labor in Maine in particular Frances Perkins, Secretary of Labor 1933-1945 and the first woman in the US Cabinet.
