This is the cove that I painted yesterday with a gray sky and no sun.  A very different place on a beautiful sunny day! 

Kennebunk Monastery, Kennebunk, Maine

Painted at the Franciscan Monastery with friends today, a beautiful sunny day!  This is favorite spot to paint, very peaceful.  The far view is really changing, what was a line of trees and then Kennebunk Beach is now a new upscale housing development. 

Stroudwater, Portland, Maine

Love this place in the Stroudwater section of Portland, love to paint here and to see the light at different times of day here.  Congress Street is so busy here though, with tens of thousands of cars and trucks zooming by here all day and night.  Very hard to enjoy the beauty of the light and tides.
