Pemaquid Point, Maine

Beautiful day at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park today painting with the Pastel Painters of Maine for our annual painting retreat. A wonderful group of artists! A very supportive and sharing group with new tips, plein air and pastel painting techniques. A large group dinner at the Seagull restaurant with blueberry pie and then painting in the studio made it a great day!

Pemaquid Point, Maine

Took a little trip to Pemaquid Point today, very clear and cold, 26 degrees and breezy.  Pretty quiet at this time of year!

Owls Head, Maine

Delivered work to Carver Hill Gallery in Rockland today and did some touring to Owls Head and Port Clyde.  Gorgeous early fall day with high seas.  Hope you can get to Rockland to visit!  Posting two photos today as I was too busy yesterday

Pemaquid Point, Maine

Took a trip to Damariscotta today to pick up artwork and went on to Pemaquid to paint.  What a change in the weather, 84 and sunny in Damariscotta and 64 and fogged in at Pemaquid.  Still beautiful and fascinating with all the sounds of the busy Atlantic unseen in the veil of fog.  Many tourists were disappointed to come to Pemaquid on their one chance and to have no view.  Quote of the day from a very young boy to his parents "Look at that man down on the rocks with a BABY!"
