Sunset from Bass Harbor, this painting trip is winding down, mostly a travel day with lots of fog, mist, thunderstorms and rain.  Clear skies finally on MDI.  Hope to get some serious work done tomorrow!

This is one view from Moore's Specialties B&B in Gardner Creek.  One of the most peaceful places that I have ever been to.  If you need a quiet place away from the busy world, here it is....

The Caves, St Martins, New Brunswick

Late evening at The Caves, the tide coming in and the fishing boats were tied up offshore waiting for water in St Martins harbor to pull in to the dock.  The water completely leaves the harbor at low tide!  Crows walking along the top of the hill were causing rocks to tumble down the steep walls of the cliff.

Working on the Pastel Painters of Maine 12th International Exhibition at Heartwood today, Pencil and cat friend kept us company.  Reception and awards on Friday, June 17, 5-7pm with Terry Ludwig.  50 beautiful paintings from all over the country and Canada!  The show runs through July 16, Monday -Saturday 10am-3pm daily.
